Microsoft Teams notifications
Post FunnelStory activity and signal updates to Microsoft Teams channels your team monitors day to day. The flow matches Slack: each notification configuration wires events, account scope, Teams destinations, and templates together.
Before you start
Complete a Microsoft Teams data connection so FunnelStory can read teams and channels you authorize.
Create a Teams configuration
- Open Admin → Notifications.
- Choose New Configuration and select Teams.
- Complete each section:
When these happen
Select activities and signals that should trigger this configuration. Available signal types depend on what your workspace has configured (for example prediction- or audience-driven signals).
In any of these accounts
Use Select accounts to target specific accounts or apply a filter so only matching accounts generate notifications.
Notify these channels
Choose the Teams connection, then the team and channel (or channels) to receive messages. If you need different Teams destinations for activities versus signals, use the channel picker in the product to assign each side independently, or create separate configurations when policies require distinct routing.
Templates
Pick activity and signal templates so posts stay readable in Teams.
- Save the configuration. Add more configurations when different teams or regions need their own routing.
Operational tips
- Ensure the FunnelStory Teams app (or integration) is installed where your organization requires it, and that channel membership allows the posting identity to deliver messages.
- Delivery follows the same refresh-driven timing as other channel notifications—see the notifications overview.
