Audience sync
Audience sync keeps a HubSpot static list aligned with a FunnelStory audience so marketing workflows, enrollment triggers, and outbound sequences always target the same accounts your data science team defined. Use it when HubSpot—not only the FunnelStory UI—must reflect live membership of a saved segment.
Prerequisites
- A HubSpot data connection with list permissions.
- An existing audience with stable match rules (see Audiences).
- CRM sync permissions for the user configuring the binding.
How it behaves
When you bind an audience to HubSpot, FunnelStory stores a sync configuration that includes the audience ID and HubSpot list_id (creating or selecting the list during setup). Sync runs—manual or scheduled—evaluate the audience filter, then add or remove contacts/companies on the HubSpot side so the list mirrors FunnelStory membership.
Membership updates follow the same interval you set on the sync (or Manual runs from Sync Data).
Configuring from an audience
- Open the audience from Audiences.
- Open CRM sync or HubSpot list setup from the audience actions (wording matches your app version) and choose the HubSpot connection.
- Pick an existing static list or create a new one; save the binding.
- Run Sync now the first time from Sync Data, then rely on the configured schedule for ongoing refreshes.
