HubSpot sync
HubSpot sync publishes FunnelStory account or user data into HubSpot so lists, workflows, and deal boards can branch on the same health, usage, and prediction fields your CS team sees internally. You need an authorized HubSpot connection before creating a sync.
Account sync targets
For account sync, pick where FunnelStory should write:

| Deal (default) | You want one HubSpot deal per FunnelStory account, commonly paired with pipeline reporting. |
| Company | You prefer fields directly on the company record. |
| Custom object | Your operations model stores customer telemetry on a HubSpot custom object—select the object type ID your admin provisioned. |
The form labels these as Deal, Company, and Custom Object in the HubSpot sync type selector.
Shared HubSpot settings
- Property group — Name the HubSpot property group FunnelStory should create or reuse; managed fields stay grouped for easy governance.
- Stage filter (account sync) — Optionally restrict which FunnelStory accounts participate based on their funnel stage before anything is upserted in HubSpot.
- Schedule — Same interval ladder as Salesforce (1 Hour … 24 Hour) or Manual.
- Field sections — Choose account properties, activities, subscriptions, signals, and metrics exactly like the Sync properties reference describes.
Associations
Deal syncs attempt to associate deals with existing HubSpot companies when a match is found so CRM users see company context on the deal record.
User sync
User sync maps FunnelStory users to HubSpot contacts, carrying user properties, activities, and selected subscription fields from the parent account. Pick the same connection, property group, schedule, and field lists—scoped to user entities.
Operational notes
- If someone deletes a HubSpot record that FunnelStory created, the next sync may not automatically recreate it depending on CRM state—treat deletions as intentional and re-save or reconfigure if you need a fresh object.
- For audience-driven lists, use Audience sync in addition to (or instead of) broad account sync when Marketing only needs membership.
